Choose Your Style

There is nothing wrong with being careful about the way you dress yourself.  The clothing that you put on is one of the first things that strangers notice about you.  It makes a statement, whether you like it or not.  You might as well be sure that you are sending the right messages.

Do you revel in being different?  If you feel like you have an eccentric personality, and you dress to show how you feel, you may fall into the eccentric fashion category.  These people have some serious fun with their fashions and they love to turn heads.

Fashionista types absolutely adore the idea of being noticed for their fashions.  Following trends can become something akin to a workout for these people who know exactly what they should be wearing.  These are often the people who sign up to have lists of current trends delivered to their email boxes.

If you have ever been referred to as "Sport" more than once in any given day, you might be a sporty type of dresser.  These folks figure it is just good sense to be ready to take a quick jog at any time of the day.  If these folks are not wearing athletic shoes when you see them, they probably are just a quick jog away in the trunk of the car.

Artsy dressers sometimes cross over with eccentric fashion lovers, but artsy fashion does not go quite so much for the shock factor.  These people have a very creative eye and often have a talent for putting things together in a way that looks great, but that no one else thought of before.

People who look like they just returned from Woodstock are sometimes thought of as retro hippie types.  Depending on the person, this could be intentional or just a case of wearing what has been comfortable for a really long time.  Some of these people dress this way to get noticed, but some honestly do not seem to realize that they fell off the fashion train a few decades ago.

People who love preppy fashion would often fit right into a high school movie from the 1980s.  Although these people look very well put together, taking on this style is something that will sometimes make you appear to be a bit of a snob to those you encounter through the day.  If you are a man and you wear pink Polo shirts with the collar turned up, you might be preppy.  If you carelessly tie a sweater around your shoulders, there is no doubt!

Many people who like to dress in emo styles act as if they do not really want any attention.  Although the often dark colors might help to make these people fade into the background, the shocking brightly colore hairstyles quickly throw them back into the limelight.  If you fall into the emo fashion category, there is little doubt that you know exactly the message you are trying to send.
